Nearly Half of Monterey County Residents Now Vaccinated 04-14-21 16:41 DC

Monterey County health officials have provided an update on COVID-19 and they said about 48% of Monterey County residents aged 16 and older have already received a vaccine.

Starting tomorrow (Thursday), all California residents aged 16 and older become eligible to get the COVID vaccine.

Over the weekend, hundreds of no-shows were reported at Salinas vaccine clini cs, and county officials say it is important for people to show up to their appointments. Why? They say this is because they keep a close inventory and doses may go to waste if not used as scheduled.
