City leaders in Monterey have banned cruise ship visits. Last Friday, city officials asked cruise ship agencies to cancel planned visits to the Monterey Bay. As of Monday, all cruises to the bay have been cancelled through the end of April. The City will continue to keep the public updated on the status of cruise ship visits.
