The current mayor of Monterey is running for reelection. Mayor Clyde Roberson announced yesterday that he will be once again running for re-election. Robertson is seeking a fourth term. He was first elected in 2014, then again 2016 and 18. Robertson is running on 3 issues the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic and budget crisis and working toward social justice.
