(17:04) MONTEREY- Monterey County Elections is in the official election canvass process. As of yesterday (Thursday), the estimated number of ballots to be processed is over 59,800. The canvass is a 28 day period required by state law to conduct a full accounting and tabulation of all ballots cast in the election. The next reports will be next Wednesday and Friday.
