The Santa Cruz Police Department along with the city, county and several organizations have organized a march and Martin Luther King remembrance event. Marchers will begin meeting at 9 a.m, at Cathcart Street between Cedar and Pacific. The march at 10 and continues around the downtown area convening with speeches and family-friendly activities on Cooper Street in partnership with the Museum of Art and History. Everyone is welcome to participate in the event. Parking in downtown metered spots will be free throughout the day.
