A 16 year-old Bonny Doon girl has been reported missing, and is considered “at-risk”. Kacie Lynn Van Buskirk (Pearl’s) mother said she last saw her daughter around 6 p.m. Friday night, when the teen told them she was going to walk a quarter mile to catch the 6:30 p-m bus on Empire Grade at Pineridge to go see a friend. She never showed up at the friend’s house, nor was said friend aware of the unplanned visit. Kacie Lynn Van Buskirk (Pearl) is said to have been upset when she left home, and has neither her cell phone, nor her medicine.
Anyone with any information about her whereabouts is encouraged to contact the teen’s family, or the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
