A 15-million dollar fund has been created in Monterey County to help with job creation in the agricultural sector. Rabobank created the fund to help small farmers in the region get financing for operations, equipment and crop production. Rabobank is partnering with Valley Small Business Development Corporation in Fresno and the California Coastal Rural Development Corporation in downtown Salinas to administer the revolving loan fund, that will be directed toward smaller agricultural and farm-related loans along the Central Coast and in the San Joaquin Valley.
