The election results for the November 2020 general election in Monterey county have been certified. Registrar Of Voters For Monterey County, Claudio Valenzuela, said the voter registration topped 206,000 and the turnout of 80.21% was the highest the county has ever seen. Some of the winners were:
- County Supervisor, District 4: Wendy Root Askew
- Carmel-by-the-Sea Mayor: Dave Potter
- Monterey City Council: Dan Albert and Alan Haffa
- Salinas Mayor: Kimbley Craig
- Seaside Mayor: Ian Oglesby
……and in one of the closest races in Monterey County, Carla Vivian Gonzalez beat out Scott Davis by just 90 votes with A (51-49% win) for Salinas City Council, District 1.
