May 28, 2015: State Releases Salinas Air Quality Report

(09:30) SALINAS – A report on air quality in Salinas has been released. The State Department of Pesticide Regulation conducted the study, which focused on 32 chemical substances. Salinas was one of three sites monitored in the state. Some pesticides were detected, but, according to researchers, there are no immediate health risks. The data was collected over the course of last year. It was the fourth year that the agency has been measuring overall air quality. (M.K.)
