(18:16) KING CITY- A permanent Police Chief has been appointed in King City. The City Manager appointed Robert Masterson as the new chief after extensive background checks and three separate interviews by panels comprised of city officials and law enforcement specialists. Masterson has 20 years experience in law enforcement including working as a police chief, a detective, an internal affairs sargeant, and the head of a gang suppression unit. The new chief will be sworn in on July 7th.
