(09:45) Watsonville – A man turned himself in to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, after Officers conducted a probation compliance check at a home, and uncovered weapons. The probation search recently took place on the 100 Block of Corralitos View Road in Wastonville. The Sheriff’s Office Problem Oriented Policing (POP) team found three handguns and ammunition. The suspect, Juan Jara, was not home during the probation search but turned himself in later the same day.
