Marine Mammal Center Overloaded – 03/18/15 06:44 S.S.

Officials, with the Marine Mammal Center, say that they have been overloaded with starving and stranded sea lion pups. More than 18-hundred sea lions have been found starving along California beaches, and between the Moss landing and Sausalito locations of the Marine Mammal Center they have taken in more than 545 of the creatures, and are still caring for 224 of them. The warmer water of an El Nino year, is reportedly the cause, because warm water has less nutrients in it.
