(11:45) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is expanding the recall on other flavors of Evanger’s Dog Food. A month ago the Hunk of Beef Au Jus dog food was recalled after a drug used to euthanize pets was found in it. So far, there have been five reports of dogs becoming ill and one death. As a precaution, the company is voluntarily expanding its recall of Hunk of Beef and recalling Braised Beef and Against the Grain’s Pulled Beef Products due to potential contamination. The 12 oz. cans of dog foods that are being voluntarily recalled have the following barcodes: 20109, 20107 and 80001.
