(16:16) SALINAS- A Salinas man was injured by gunfire Friday evening. The incident took place on the 800 block of Larkin Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. when the 18 year old victim reported hearing shots fired before being struck in the leg by gunfire. He was transported to the hospital for treatment. Several area homes were also hit by gunfire. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Salinas police.
