(18:20) WATSONVILLE – The Watsonville city council has approved a 4-story hotel for downtown. The 75-room La Quinta Inn is now scheduled to be constructed where the fire-damaged National 9 Motel on Western Drive is. The National 9 Motel would be demolished to make way for the new La Quinta Inn.
