A man, who fell out of a car that was traveling on Highway 1 this morning, was airlifted to an area trauma center. The 11:45 a.m. incident took place south of Big Sur, near Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. Anyone who witnessed the accident is encouraged to contact the Monterey County Sheriffs Department.
