A man was shot 3 times early this morning while walking near South Hebbron Street in East Salinas. The 44-year-old victim was walking through an alley around 4am when a silver car pulled up and someone reportedly began demanding money from him in Spanish. Just moments after the command, the culprit fired three shots that hit the victim in the chest, neck, and hand. The victim was able to make it to a nearby house before collapsing. He was in critical condition when admitted to Natividad Medical Center, but was stabilized before being transported to a bay area hospital.
