A 34 year-old man, accused of being the driver in a hit-and-run accident last week in Salinas, has pleaded Not Guilty. Jorge Osio Ramirez has been charged with hitting (and injuring) Bernardina Leon and her 6 year-old daughter (while the 2 were walking in a cross walk at the intersection of North Main and Lamar Street). The incident occurred around 7:30 p-m last Tuesday October 24th.
