(08:00) Salinas – A Salinas man is scheduled to be sentenced next month for first degree murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of shooting at a residence. The Monterey County District Attorney’s Office reported that in August of 2016, 19 year-old Fabian Alvarado drove up to a victim’s home, Mario Puga, and shot at least 10 bullets, striking Puga 3 times. Puga was pronounced dead at the scene. Alvarado is scheduled to be sentenced next month and faces 104 years to life in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
