Monterey county officials have established a task force to set up guidelines for water use during drought conditions. WITH RESERVES in Lake San Antonio at 4 percent of capacity, and Lake Nacimiento at 20 percent, And The San Luis Reservoir at 42 percent capacity. STRATEGIES need to be devised to ACCOMMODATE emergencies such as fires with the needs of agriculture and the general public. The task force plans to meet every 2 months.
