2 men were arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop this week in the Live Oak area of Santa Cruz County. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year old Alfonso Barrios and 29-year old Humberto Patino Alcaraz were pulled over Monday at 11:40 p.m. after failing to stop at a stop sign at Capitola Road near 7th Avenue. Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Deputies searched the car, after Alfonso was found to be driving without a driver’s license, and found a small metal box containing 15 bindles of heroin. Both men were booked into Santa Cruz County Jail on multiple charges
