(08:47) CARMEL VALLEY – A Seaside man remains in jail after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase in Carmel Valley over the weekend. The pursuit began Sunday night when 25-year-old Ricky Bilbro failed to pull over for deputies. The chase ended when Bilbro lost control of his vehicle on Carmel Valley Road and drove into a ravine. The suspect attempted to flee the scene on foot, but was apprehended shortly after. Deputies found that Bilbro had an outstanding felony arrest warrant and was in possession of prescription medication without a prescription. He was booked into Monterey County Jail. (S.G.)
