(12:00) Capitola – Capitola Public Works department announced they will be making Emergency repairs to the Capitola Wharf next month. The repairs are being made because two steel piles were lost during a period of high surf in April. The steel piles in question resemble 6-inch pipes. From 40 to 60 feet long, the piles are fixed supports along the edges of the wharf. Repairs are tentatively scheduled to begin on July 10th. Installation is expected to take four days to complete.
