(8:42) CAPITOLA- A Capitola surf shop was robbed at gunpoint Friday afternoon. Shortly after 3 p.m. a man armed with a handgun entered O’Neill Surf Shop on 41st Avenue and demanded money from the clerk. The employee was unable to open the cash register and the robber fled with a handful of merchandise. The subject is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, with brown hair and a beard. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Capitola police.
