(07:18) CALIFORNIA – The State Water Resources Control Board has approved the use of $10 million to help fund water quality improvement projects at three California State Parks beaches. The funds are being distributed through the board’s Clean Beaches Initiative Grant Program, which aims to protect beaches that are enjoyed by more than one million visitors annually. The three parks designated for the funds include Doheney State Beach in Dana Point, El Capitán State Beach in Goleta and Carpinteria State Beach south of Santa Barbara.
