July 7, 2016: Salinas Robbery Arrest

(16:39) SALINAS- Salinas police arrested two teenagers following an armed robbery on Wednesday. Authorities say that shortly after 10 p.m. 19 year old Jesus Nunez Sosa and a 17 year old male accomplice armed with shotguns, entered a restaurant on the 300 block of Rianda Street. One of the robbers fired a shot during the robbery, shots were also fired at the getaway vehicle by police arriving at the scene. Sosa and his accomplice were taken into custody after crashing near a bank on South Main Street. No one was injured by gunfire during the incident.
