(10:40) Santa Cruz – Authorities reported that two men were arrested for armed robbery on Tuesday in Santa Cruz. The robbery took place around 9:45 p.m. on the 400 block of River Street. The victim gave officers a description of the two suspects and the getaway vehicle. A short time later, officers spotted the vehicle near Highway 1 and Riverside Drive, and arrested 24 year-old Aamen Gonzales with armed robbery, carrying a loaded firearm and conspiracy to commit a crime. The second suspect, 19 year-old Carols Amezquita, was also arrested for robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
