July 26, 2015: Santa Cruz Parking

(19:45) SANTA CRUZ- The city of Santa Cruz is examining parking solutions. Officials say the most viable solution is a multi level parking garage between Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street in the lot that is home to the farmer’s market. The project is estimated to cost about 20 million dollars and take five years to complete. The structure would add 800 additional parking spaces. A meeting is scheduled for October 15th to hear other possible solutions to the downtown parking issue.
