(12:03) MARINA – A Monterey man was arrested Wednesday night on a number of charges, including vehicle theft and possession of stolen property. Marina police spotted 26-year-old Ricardo Gamboa Carranza in a stolen car near the Motel 6 on Reservation Road around midnight. The suspect led officers on a foot chase and was apprehended shortly after. A search of the vehicle recovered stolen property from Seaside and Salinas. Carranza was booked into county jail. Officers are still seeking a woman who was in the car with Carranza. Anyone with information is to contact Marina police. (S.G.)
