(07:55) Santa Cruz – Santa Cruz Community Health Centers (SCCHC) announced yesterday (Tuesday) it has received a $35,000 grant from Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center to support capital improvements. The grant will fund clinic improvements including the purchase of new equipment at both the Santa Cruz Women’s Health Center and the East Cliff Family Health Center. Some of the new improvements include: Privacy partitions, power-lift exam tables, and soundproofing for the Behavioral Health Department. Both clinics will get new iPad tablets, cordless illuminators, and an automated vitals station.
