(08:30) Santa Cruz – Caltrans completed construction of a new rock wall net on Highway 17 yesterday (Tuesday). The new wall was put in at Vine Hill Road after multiple mudslides occurred last week due to the storm. Although the net will not stop large slides from occurring it will prevent rocks and debris from rolling down the embankment.
