January 18, 2017: False Craigslist Ad Results in Three Arrests

(07:35) Santa Cruz – Three people were arrested in connection with a false craigslist ad that lured two men into an armed robbery on Monday.  The two victims responded to an “exotic dancer” ad and met a woman around 8 p.m. on the 600 block of Riverside Avenue in Santa Cruz.   After the two men gave the woman money she left saying she would be back with the dancers.   The woman returned with three men.  The two victims reported that they ran away after 1 of the suspects pointed a gun at them.   Police arrested Timothy Towsel, Denzel Freeman, and Maria Torres.  Police are still searching for 1 more suspect.
