Santa Cruz County Sherriff’s deputies are on the lookout for a man who robbed an ice cream vendor at knifepoint in Watsonville yesterday. According to the Sherriff’s office, the woman was approached by the thief just before 5 pm last night on Roberta Drive. The robber held a knife to the victim, and fled in a burgundy Toyota after taking $5 and a cell phone. The thief is described at being in his 20’s, with tattoos on his arms and fingers. Anyone with information on this robbery is encouraged to call the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s department.
