A convicted sex offender from Hollister has been arrested and then accused of offering a child alcohol and then asking the child to have sex with him.
The alleged incident happened on Feb. 16.
Corcoran Police say 73-year-old Seferino Arjona Rodarte approached a child walking near Corcoran High School in Kings County. The victim’s parent told investigators that Rodarte offered their child whiskey and asked the child for sex.
Rodarte was arrested for annoying/molesting a minor and for an outstanding warrant related to his sex offender registration. He was booked into the Kings County Jail where he is being held without bail due to the warrant.
