A 21 year old Hollister man was killed in a crash outside of Watsonville, Friday night. Authorities say that shortly before 11:30 p-m the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a utility pole and was ejected from the car. The victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 23 year old passenger, who was buckled in, was treated for minor injuries. Alcohol is suspected to have a role in the crash.
