The war-of-words on the Hollister City Council continued yesterday as members voted to censure council member Rolan Resendiz amid claims he made inappropriate comments about other councilmembers.
KION Television reports that council members Honor Spencer and Marty Richman requested the censure over Resendiz allegedly using a gender-based slur and suggesting there was a sexual relationship between Spencer, Richman and an additional council member.
A motion to censure Spencer and Richman for profanity, harassment, and threats was tabled until a later date. The matter, according to Resendiz could now wind up in court.
