an aptos man was arrested on suspicion of hit and run and felony d.u.i. yesterday. karl peterson was driving southbound on highway 1 near the bay avenue offramp when he allegedly hit another car and fled the scene, leaving the other driver with moderate injuries. peterson entered the aptos pine mobile home park, where he crashed his car into a parked car, a mailbox, a fence and a utility pole. he was arrested on suspicion of felony hit and run, felony d.u.i., possession of narcotics and a probation violation.
