(09:00) Monterey – A high surf advisory remains in effectfor the Monterey Bay coast until 4 P.M. tomorrow. Northwesterly swell 8 to 10 feet with swell periods of 20 to 22 seconds this evening will transition to 13 to 15 feet with swell periods 17 seconds tonight into Tuesday. Breakers will occasionally reach 18 to 20 feet. The public is advised to not turn their back to the ocean.
