The 3rd phase of the Hecker Pass Specific Plan is expected to be considered by the Gilroy Planning Commission during their June meeting. The North Hecker Pass Residential Cluster calls for 72 single-family housing units to be constructed east of the Gilroy Municipal Golf Course. To mitigate the expected increase in traffic in the area, a traffic circle is slated to be built on Hecker Pass Highway, where the Highway intersects with 3rd street and the future Autumn Drive, the entrance for the north cluster. The planning commission’s next meeting is slated to take place June 7th.
