A Gilroy husband and wife have been arrested on charges of Human Trafficking. That after Amarjit and Balwinder Mann locked a man in their liquor store, and forced him to work 15-hour shifts, 7 days a week, for no pay. Their victim slept in a storage room, and bathed in a mop bucket. The Mann’s allegedly threatened him with deportation if he told law enforcement the truth. The couple faces charges of labor human trafficking, witness intimidation, and wage theft that involved 4 “employees”.
