There are several fun events scheduled for Santa Cruz this weekend.
We’ve been telling you about the Ancestry Fair taking place Saturday from 3 until 6 pm at the LDS church located at 220 Elk Street.
Downtown the annual Greek Festival will be taking place on Church Street at Center Street on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The festival is intended to be a great place to enjoy Greek food and culture and to gather with friends. Organizer Connie Mellis says the festival has grown considerably over its 37-year run.
The festival takes place Friday from 5 until 10 pm, Saturday from 11 am until 10 pm, and Sunday from Noon until 7pm. Admission is free, but bring money for the tasty Greek food.
