A nearly 2-month public review period has begun for a draft environmental impact report. That’s for the Fort Ord Regional Trail And Greenway Project that would include a 26 mile-long, 12 foot-wide paved bike and pedestrian path, along the former military base. It designed to connect the cities of Marina, Seaside, Del Rey Oaks, And Monterey Bay With CSU-Monterey Bay. It would also connect with the Monterey Bay Coastal Recreational Trail.
