Fifth SC Homicide Suspect Sought 10-23-2018 17:15 DC

Four suspects remain jailed in the murder of a Santa Cruz man whose body was found last Saturday off the roadway on North Rodeo Gulch.

Investigators say 41-year-old Bernardo Rodas died from a combination of stab wounds to his torso and a gunshot to his head.

Last Tuesday, Sheriff’s detectives arrested 22-year-old Milton Arias Molina from San Jose, a 17-year-old from Capitola and a 15-year-old from Santa Cruz for Rodas’ murder. Another 17-year-old suspect was arrested on Oct. 19. Police searching for 20-year-old Jose Leonardo Alfaro Juarez as a fifth homicide suspect and there may be more.

Police say Rodas was not a gang member.
