(07:03) APTOS – A man was arrested in Aptos Tuesday for public intoxication and possession of stolen property. Deputies were patrolling on Cathedral Drive when they spotted John Chavez looking into mailboxes. Chavez was contacted and found carrying stolen mail in his backpack. He was also exhibiting signs of intoxication. Chavez was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. (S.G.)
