A Go Fund Me account has been created to help the owner’s of a family-owned donut shop in Gilroy. That’s because the 29 year-old daughter of the husband and wife who own the Gilroy Donut House on First Street recently suffered a brain aneurysm and will be taken off life support. The couple were already dealing with their own health issues (the dad has been seriously ill for several years and undergoes regular dialysis and is now back working the counter at the Gilroy Donut House; and his wife had a stroke and is partially paralyzed….but still does the baking at night), so far, people have not only donated more than 96-thousand dollars to the Hok Family via the Gilroy-Donut-House-Emergency-Fund to help with the Hok’s rent, medical bills, and other expenses. Customers have lined-up out the door to buy their donuts, baked goods and coffee. The link to the fundraiser is:
