Capitola City Councilmembers are considering banning electronic cigarettes in public places, and at restaurants. E-cigarettes are battery-powered devices, that are generally shaped like cigarettes. They vaporize whatever fluid is put in them, so that people can inhale that vapor. Although many people do use nicotine-based “juices” in the devices, there are non-nicotine-based “juices” as well. Council members are expected to meet on Thursday in the Capitola City Council Chambers.
