Hotels in santa cruz were at near capacity last weekend, as the American idol finalist returned to play a free concert at the beach boardwalk. About 30-thousand people attended that concert. The conference and visitors’ council also reported a doubling of internet traffic to its website, and staff hope Durbin’s continued national presence will continue to benefit santa cruz.
