The Commercial Dungeness Crab Season is now expected to open December 23rd. That’s because the visiting whales have started to migrate to their winter breeding grounds. The Commercial season had been delayed due to concerns about the whales getting entangled in the fishing lines….and also because of low weight crabs in some areas.
