(07:55) Santa Cruz – A man was arrested in Santa Cruz recently after he was caught with methamphetamine. Officers on patrol spotted 49 year-old Shawn Erwood on the 400 Block of Soquel Avenue standing next to his vehicle. During a probation search of his vehicle officers located over $600 in cash, a digital scale, and approximately 10 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sales. Erwood was arrested for felony possession of methamphetamine for sales and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.
