A sad reminder about the importance of smoke alarms this morning…
An official corner’s report indicates the 34-victims who burned in a scuba boat fire off the coast of Santa Barbara died of carbon monoxide poisoning or smoke inhalation before they burned.
Many of those victims were from our area including a girl celebrating her 17th birthday. The deadly fire engulfed the boat last labor day weekend.
Still no official word tho on the cause of the deadly blaze.
